Cozy Hotel Southeast of Quebec City with a Little Windmill in Front

A nice and cozy hotel in Saint-Nicolas, southeast of Quebec City, with a little windmill in front, and the Parc des Chutes-de-la-Chaudière nearby.

Hotel Bernieres is located 16 kilometers southeast of Old Quebec area, which is just about a 24-minute drive. Situated in a quiet area, with Tim Hortons and Rotisserie St-Hubert nearby. The Quebec City KOA RV campground is also just a minute drive to the south.

Checking in was a breeze. The hotel staff were friendly; the lady who attended to us when we checked in, Audrey, was very helpful. The room was clean and cozy, with in-suite microwave oven and bar fridge. The washroom was clean and updated.

We were given two coupons worth 20% discount apiece for the Normandin Restaurant located just across the street; maybe not a lot to others, but a significant savings for us. Who does not want to save on travel meals? The hotel also has a promo where you get an additional $5 discount coupon for the same restaurant, if you decline (or not require) the daily room cleaning. Since we were out almost during the entire daytime (for two days) and only stayed during the nights, we did not require the daily cleaning; and yes, we got the coupons.

A pleasant stay and quiet nights. Good coffee at the coffee bar in the lobby during mornings. Relaxing front garden, with a mini-windmill at the front.
