Feeling Mediterranean
Enjoyed an early dinner with my wife at the new Stavro's Greek Restaurant and Lounge in Streetsville, Mississauga last June of 2017. The chicken gyro platter we had was delicious, and reasonably priced. The place was clean, cozy and enticing; dining inside the restaurant felt different, as the interior design lent a feeling of being in the Greek islands. The left wall design photos were well selected, showing different touches of Greece. The front patio along the sidewalk also looked comfortable. Had a little chat with the owners, Matt and Raphael, and learned that the restaurant opened just back in February 27th this year. They were happy to let me take some photos.
Chatting with Matt during one of our visits at Stavro's, he mentioned that the funny wine bottle holders at the bar counter are from Cuba.
